Adapted Media Controller for iOS and Android
A special device of my own design and the thing that really started this whole journey!
This device will work with both iOS and Android to allow control over media playback using a switch. This will NOT work if you play your audio through a bluetooth speaker. The adapter includes a standard 3.5mm headphone jack to plug in a set of headphones or speakers. This will come with a double sided headphone cable as well as a 3.5mm to USB C adapter.
*Please note that for best results that you must use the 3.5mm to USB C adapter that comes with the kit. We’ve tested several different ones and have found the official Apple one to provide the most consistent results.
